For a 4 star hotel everything was very good, I loved to be here. The staff I encountered were very friendly and extremely helpful. The room I stayed in was excellent and complete with comfy beds. Its location relatively near The Photographic Angle was unbeatable and stunning. The service was excellent. Food was FAB and I have nothing but very very good memories from this trip.

Great value for money - the lodge was clean and comfortable, and the facilities including the shop, restaurant, swimming pool, and arcade were brilliant. The lodge itself offered a cozy and pleasant stay.
Overpriced and run down - the grass pitch for a router was quite expensive at £30 per night. Unfortunately, the facilities did not match the pricing.

The caravan was clean and fresh with plenty of soft towels and bedding. The central heating was good for cooler nights. The setting in the Glen area was quiet with plenty of space between caravans. We appreciated the coffee, teabags, and milk pots provided upon arrival.
Felt cosy, no complaints.

Fun-filled Activities: During my stay at this lovely resort in Innerwick, I had a blast trying out the various activities they offer. From fishing to enjoying the sauna, there was never a dull moment. It felt like a lively amusement park for adults!
Miscommunication regarding Bingo: Unfortunately, there was a slight miscommunication regarding the timing of the Bingo games. We missed out on the fun due to conflicting information.

As a senior woman, I really appreciated the welcoming and warm atmosphere of Thurston Manor. The decor was charming and gave a cozy feeling. The common areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like me.
It would have been even better if the children working there were more attentive to the needs of senior guests.
